Hailing from Baltimore, MD and Washington D.C., Basshound has joined the ever-growing music scene as a "must see" for local music fans. Recently making the shift to a quartet after three years of gigging as a five-piece unit, Basshound brings a new level of energy to the dance floor night after night, fusing electrofunk grooves with carefully crafted song. Having released their debut E.P. in Spring 2007, Basshound proved to show the maturity of their individual playing on record, and since has received accolades from local newspapers and music critics, being named one of "Baltimore's Finest."
