“The Gimmicks are an alternative rock band from Washington, DC consisting of founding members Duncan McDonald (producer, drums), David McCallum (keyboard, guitar, bass), Christopher Peranich (vocals, guitar), and the newest member Matt Walter (bass). Growing up in DC, the band started when they played in their school talent show. Inspired by classic rock as well as modern pop music, The Gimmicks recorded and released their debut, self titled album, in the summer of 2017.”
