Getting his start in Frederickburg, VA, Cane, commonly known as the Don Draper of rap, has built serious momentum over the past few years. After his fans turned out in support of his race to open for DC’s ill-fated Rock the Bells, those in the industry began to take notice. Cane appeared on MTV’s RapFix Live as a part of their Get in the Game segment. With Joey Bada$$, Pro Era, and Sway in the studio, he received enormous praise for his visual “Grassroots Tangent” During his appearance, Cane caught the ear of Statik Selektah, which led to multiple collaborations, including a spot on Statik’s latest album “Lucky 7,” where Cane was alongside the legendary Talib Kweli & Pro Era standout CJ Fly. Keeping up with the buzz, Cane dropped “Lou Cane”, a joint project w/ long time collaborator Lou Burna. Cane has made numerous appearances on SIRIUS XM Shade 45, as well as performing with artists such as Earl Sweatshirt, Rapsody, and headlining at DC’s historic Howard Theatre in 2015. Cane has performed shows at SXSW, and NY hotspots Webster Hall and SOBs. Gaining the attention of coveted sites such as XXL, The Source, 2DBZ, and more Cane has become a prominent fixture in DMV rap.

AWTHENTIK
Modern hip hop has came a long way for better or worse. With the internet booming with infinite ways for artists to be heard, the pool of talent has diminished. Hailing from right outside of the nations capital is Maryland's own Awthentik. Awthentik brings a fresh approach with a recognizable flavor from the "Golden Era" of hiphop. Drum Samplers, records, vintage synthesizers and miscellaneous grit make up the sound from the small but effective studio of Maryland based Emcee/Producer Awthentik. Awthentik has been pushing musical boundaries in hiphop since as early as 2006. Awthentik has worked with the likes of Dead Prez, Ras Kass, Talib Kweli, Elzhi and T3 of Slum Village to name a few. When asked "who inspires yours sound and direction the most?" Awthentik responded "This one is for Dilla. Lets bring hiphop back to the forefront"
Brain Rapp
Born and raised in Maryland, Brain Rapp's first exposure to hip hop was stealing his older sister's copy of Outkast's Aquemini. Captivated by their skills, Rapp began crafting his own lyrics. Influenced by artists from both the North and South, his style ranges from boom bap braggadocio, to thoughtful, introspective storytelling. Brain encourages listeners to do one thing: think.
Nature Boi
Native to the DMV, Nature Boi has been involved in all aspects of hip hop since deejaying his first party at the age of ten. Never fitting into any one category as an artist, Nature Boi describes himself as an all-around creator. Known primarily for his skills as a producer, Nature Boi is just as comfortable behind the mic as he is behind a drum-machine.
JON DOE
: 27 year old father of two boys. Born and raised in Landover Maryland, now residing in Hyattsville. His new mixtape "CORDUROY: Lines you Can feel", is the most downloaded Indy mixtape in the DMV this year(on spinrilla). He's not a trap rapper, a conscious rapper or a gimmick rapper. He's somewhere perfectly in the middle. Remember the name! "JON DOE!"
