Calamity Row is trying to reconcile the guts of old-time folk with the last half-century of recorded popular music. Drawing on influences from Motörhead to Simon and Garfunkel, they are part bluegrass and barroom, part twang and snarl. Formed in 2014 in Washington DC as the result of a few beers and late night hootenannies, their common love of eclectic music soon drew them together to create original songs. They have since played to hundreds at music festivals, dive bars, salvage yards, and everything in between.

In 2012, in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore, Rattlewood formed in order to provide an outlet for those in need of regular weeknight porchbreaks and a place to share all of the imaginary names one should never think of. Now having grown into a sometimes six piece string band, they can be found playing their "garage americana" brand of music to mammals all around Maryland. Sometimes hootin' and sometimes hollerin', they combine a penchant for stalker songs with a hootenanny vibe. Most of all, they love everyone.
