Bottled Up is a DC rock and roll quintet growing its roots from surf, new-wave, 70’s rock, and punk ethos. Founded in Oakland, CA by Nikhil Rao (former Kid Quazar, Seasick!, and Shari La La’s), he restarted the project w/ a new line-up of local DC musicians. They just put out their energetic lo-fi punk self-titled EP on cassette with Chicago garage/experimental label Maximum Pelt Records, and were christened by Ian MacKaye himself at Fort Reno Festival 2017.

Wae
Caleb Moore has reformed the live Wae band, which is now in it's third incarnation, featuring bass by Beau Cole (Citrine, Lands & Peoples, Raindeer), keys by Dan Whatley (Other Colors) and drums by Eric Rosario (Shinji). Previously, Caleb has released albums with Lands & Peoples, and various ambient works under the name Dead Drums.
Play3r
A new Post-Punk/New-Wave project formed in DC, recently invited to play at the RAW artist showcase at Howard Theatre. Play3r walks the fine line between electronic, rock, and post-punk jams to create blissful indie rock tracks.
Viu
Viu is a new experimental psych band from DC, led by guitarist Scott Mitzner.
